"Twisted Tots"

 June 26, 2006

Interview with

Stacey & James

First of all, I have to say, I love the tots! They're great! They kind of  remind me of some kids in my nightmares and the kids I babysat in the past. I think that everyone should have one or two of them to love.

                                  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Tell me about the creation of Twisted Tots?
- Ahhh hahaha the creation of Twisted Tots *(Evil laughter)*................
Well lets see.... The idea originally started in 2002 after seeing custom reborn life like baby dolls on the net. With both of us being avid horror fans, we decided to combine our love for horror and babies, and thus Twisted Tots were created. But we went a little further than the "average" demon doll and decided to not only put a sick and gory twist to them, but to also give them a little realism, As well as a little bit of our personalities thrown in for a laugh.
-  Do you have a favorite Tot ?
Or do you not wish to say because the other tots will gang up on you in a rage! LOL
                                                  *(Looks around to see if the coast is clear)*
-  I think we both agree on this one for sure......"SPASTIC JO JO" is our favorite! He's not only our mascot, but he is also a main character in our up coming comic book. He just sort of grew on us (like a bad *&(%@ rash) lol.
-  Spastic Jo Jo is the sh!t and he knows it, haha. No need to worry too much about the other Tots ganging up on us, because they know who's boss.....Yes, you guessed it "Spastic Jo Jo".
-  They don't bite, do they?
-  Depends..... On what your blood type is.
 some nibble, some bite, some devour.
                           haha
-  Will any of the Tots be starring or appearing in any films?
-  Well...that's a secret, but keep your eyes peeled, you may get a glimpse of one SOME WHERE.
-  Do Tots really help relieve stress? Which by the way seems like a great way to chill out from a hell day. I chill out by refinishing old furniture, which some consider boring!
-  No, that doesn't sound boring, I just wish I had the patience for something like that.
-  Seriously, Yes, they do help to relieve stress. It's always nice to come home after a long stressful day and rip the limbs off of little baby dolls. (while thinking of all those who stressed me out throughout the day). I mean hell, you can't rip your neighbor limb for limb, but the dolls.....YES!!!
-  Regarding the comic book, when will that be available? Excellent artwork, I must say.
-  Well the comic is currently delayed at the printers. It was supposed to be out two months ago. It's supposed to be guaranteed to be to us by August, but we will see.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

-  As for the art...we cannot take the credit for that we have to give credit to Ray Scott of  www.twistedgate.com

along with his team of artists. We just gave them a starting story line and told them to run with it. So it's definitely going to be a gruesome balls out comic, that's for sure. Not a comic for the little ones.

-  Tell me some about the film The Hunger ?

Well we won't go in to detail, because we don't want to spoil it for everyone, but we can assure you it's a HORROR film. It will star me lol and  "our middle aged son. He is playing the part of "Nora", yes that's right, a girl. Believe me, we've caught enough hell from my nagging mother about that to last a life time. He really doesn't mind it though, and he enjoys playing the role of "Nora" in the film. Sometimes I think he enjoys it a bit too much.

-  Just the other day when we returned home from shooting, he still had his gory stage make up on. He was playing "zombie tag" with the neighbor kid, and some man was walking down the side walk, (and as if an 8 year old painted up as a zombie wasn't freaky enough), He (our son) then proceeded to jump off the porch and take off chasing the man down the sidewalk. The man turned and look at our son like "WTF"??!!! lol. What a priceless moment.

-  Favorite Director?

-  George Romero "God"

-  Favorite Film?

-  "Night of the Living Dead

"

-  Is there a tentative release date?

-  We do not have a release date yet. We have encoutered a few delays, due to us preparing to move. We've been filming what we can, when we can, until our schedule is more stable. It may take some time, and be a long process in the making, but it will be done and we are confident it will be worth the wait.

-  One last question. Will there be screenings at conventions?

-  We sure hope so..that would be great! Believe me, when it's complete we WILL spread the word.

- Again, I think these Tots are great, keep up the good work. Very creative work.

- Thank you so much Denise for your interest in our Twisted creations.

  We greatly appreciate it. The Tots send you hugs and strangles.

-  Stay Twisted,
   Stacey & James Griffith
