"Krypt Kiddies"

August 2006

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I once went to a Horror convention in Cherry Hill, NJ and saw these sweet lil kiddies on display. I just loved them.
Well tonight I welcome the folks of "Krypt Kiddies" who have a house full of these cool, evil, lovable kiddies.
(I sure hope that the kids all get along....)
- Tell me about those cute little angels and devils Kids? And do they all get along???
There's some sibling rivalry
once in a while. Each one seem to have their own personality.
-Where did the idea for Krypt Kiddies come from?
The idea for Krypt Kiddies is a combination of My wife's interest in doll collecting and both our interest in horror and science fiction. She also had an interest in "Reborn" dolls, which is the process of taking a vinyl baby doll and repainting it to look realistic. I offered to help her with the painting process and she suggested that I should try to make a doll that looked like Rosemary's baby. I thought that was a great idea and started making it right away. Besides, isn't this the way children really look?
Kotten Kandy
- How long have the Krypt Kiddies been around?
We started 4 years ago. Our first Krypt Kiddie went on Ebay in 2002.
- Tell me something about the Kiddie's comic books?
The comic book was a promotional item for the International Toy Fair in New York last February. We had some left over, so we offered it on our site. The story revolves around the kiddie named Kotten Kandy and how she came to be.
- Are the Hand Mades and Krypt's available for purchase, and where?
Yes, they are available for purchase. The retail Krypt Kiddies are sold at stores in the US, UK, Canada, Spain, and Australia. Also at many online stores. The hand made Krypt Kiddies are purchased through our site. They are custom made and more expensive. We also attend conventions and offer both versions.
Demion
-Which Kiddie devil is one of your favorites? and which angel? ( I myself like "Demion" and "Ivory")
Well it's hard to pick favorites, but I have a soft spot for Bill Z Bob and Vile-ette.
 - Are there any conventions that the Kiddies are scheduled for in the near future?
Yes. We will be at Horror find in August and probably Chiller Theater in October.
Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me about the kids, keep me posted on any future plans for the kids, especially if they audition for a role in a horror film.......
I will, Thanks.
